The Woodfield Project’s first AGM was held on 14 July 2015 at St Stephen’s Church, on Weir Road in Balham.
An extract from the introduction to the minutes:
“The Chair of the Trustees, Anthony Gilmour, presented & spoke to the Trustees’ Report, referring especially to the origins and development of the charity that embodied the project. He explained the nature and significance of the charity’s partnership with the Wandsworth Borough Council and other groups in a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund to assist with the refurbishment of the pavilion on the Woodfield site.
He circulated a plan of the proposed refurbishment and spoke of the importance for fund-raising purposes of the detail of leasing arrangements with the WBC, and of their timely settlement.
At his request, the Secretary, Andrew Sharp, gave a brief outline of the charity’s still-developing structure of Trustees, Members, and Friends. Also at his request the Treasurer, Simon Hemsley, gave an informal account of the activities of the trustees during 2015 so as to keep the meeting up to-date. These would be included in the annual report for 2016.”
The Secretary sent a copy of the minutes of the AGM to trustees and members after the meeting. Additional copies can be requested from the Secretary.
